York County is under a flash flood watch on Saturday, June 2.

The watch begins at noon and runs through Saturday night, the National Weather Service said.

York, Adams and Lancaster counties are included in the watch.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms through the afternoon and evening could produce torrential downpours and localized flooding, the NWS said.

Residents are advised to watch for flooding and not to drive on roads covered by water.
