York City official: Friday night gunshot victim uncooperative
A Red Lion man shot in the leg in York City on Friday, June 1, is not cooperating with police, according to a city official.
At 10 p.m. Friday, York City Police were notified that a person with a gunshot wound had arrived at York Hospital, police said in a news release.
Philip Given, chief of staff for York City Mayor Michael Helfrich, identified the man as Dejan Jacobs, 18, of Red Lion, and said he had been shot in the leg.
Jacobs was listed in stable condition Friday night, police said.
Given said Jacobs is uncooperative with authorities, and there is no additional information on the shooting, including the time and place of the shooting.
