York County primary election results nearly complete

With only three precincts left to count, the race for the Democratic nomination for the 10th Congressional District was too close to call at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Here are the York County results for some of biggest races in Tuesday's primary election:

Democrat 10th Congressional District: George Scott was leading with 13,807 votes across the district, with Shavonnia Corbin-Johnson close behind with 13,305. This district also includes Dauphin County and part of Cumberland County.

GOP governor: In York County, Scott Wagner has 24,188 votes or 64.62 percent of the total; Paul Mango has 7,272 votes, 19.43 percent; Laura Ellsworth has 5,885 votes, 15.72 percent.

GOP state Senate 28th District: Kristin Phillips-Hill has a solid lead with 65 percent of the votes; Julia Wheeler has 34.74 percent.

Democrat state Senate 28th District: Judith Higgins won the race with almost 57 percent of the vote over West York Mayor Shawn Mauck, with 42.49 percent.

GOP 11th Congressional District: The Associated Press called the race for incumbent Rep. Lloyd Smucker over Chet Beiler. This district also includes Lancaster County.
