Public invited to discuss future of York City's WRCT

An assessment meeting concerning the future of White Rose Community Television will be held Monday, April 30.

The public meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at York City Hall, 101 S. George St.

York City is preparing to negotiate a new cable television franchise agreement with Comcast Corp. and is seeking public input in determining how WRCT impacts them or their organizations and how the station might evolve in the future to provide better service, according to a news release.

Experts in the cable television and public access television field from CBG Communications Inc. will be in attendance, and meeting facilitators will take questions and comments from the public about current and future service, facilities and equipment needs.
