Loucks Road in West Manchester Township will become a one-lane road for four months starting at the end of the April, according to a notice on the township's website.

The westbound lane of the township portion of the road will be closed for improvements, and during that time traffic will only be allowed to travel west to east, from Kenneth Road to Rodney Road, the notice states.

The closure is scheduled to start 9 a.m. April 30.

There will be no access to Loucks Road from Route 30 and no access to the Weis Markets shopping center from Loucks Road during the closure.

Residents will still be able to get to their homes and driveways in that area throughout the four months, the notice states.
