York City mayor announces schedule for new Neighborhood Chats

York City Mayor Michael Helfrich will be holding three more meetings around York City as part of his Neighborhood Chat series.

The next chat will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26, at York City Hall, 101 S. George St., in city council chambers, according to a news release.

The program will follow the same template as Helfrich's first meeting, held April 10 at the Door of Salvation Community Development Center Inc., 315 N. Mulberry St.

It will begin with a brief introduction by Helfrich, followed by an open question-and-answer session with a panel of city officials. The event will be broadcast on White Rose Community Television and via the City of York Facebook page.

Two more neighborhood chats have been scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, and noon Wednesday, May 23, but locations haven't been announced.
