PennDOT fixing potholes on I-83 north Thursday and Friday

Road crews will be working on a section of I-83 north fixing potholes on Thursday and Friday.

The work zone, which will be open to traffic during the repairs, is north of York City, stretching from Exit 22 (North George Street) to about halfway between Exit 24 (Emigsville) and Exit 28 (Shrinestown), according to a news release.

Roadwork is being done April 12-13 north of York City from Exit 22 (North George Street) up to halfway between exits 24 and 28.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be on roads from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day on Thursday, April 12, and Friday, April 13.

Drivers are asked to obey signs and reduce speed when approaching and traveling through the work zone and allow for extra time or alternate routes to avoid delays.
