York City firefighters battled a blaze Sunday, April 8, in the 1400 block of Dartmouth Road that left two adults displaced.

The fire was reported around 3:15 p.m., and it took about 30 minutes to bring it under control, according to York City Fire Chief David Michaels, who was still on the scene two hours later trying to determine the cause.

Two adult residents made it out of the home uninjured but have been displaced, the chief said. The residents are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

The fire caused an estimated $150,000 damage, according to officials.
