York City Police responded to a call of shots fired in York City about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, and later discovered a victim who had been shot multiple times.

Ethan Fountain, of York City, had traveled to Memorial Hospital in a privately owned vehicle after shots were reported at Clarke Avenue and State Street on Saturday, March 31, police said.

The 23-year-old man was transferred to York Hospital, where he was  treated for injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, according to a news release.

Police have no more information at this time.
