Candlelight vigils planned for two fallen York City firefighters

The Southern Pennsylvania Incident Network is holding a candlelight vigil for York City's two fallen firefighters Saturday night.

The vigil will be at the Goode School, 251 N. Broad St. in York City, down the block from the scene of the Weaver Piano & Organ Co. fire, where the firefighters were trapped in a building collapse.

SPIN will update details of the vigil later Friday.

Friday vigil: An additional vigil is planned by York City resident Kristy Wolf, according to a post on her Facebook page.

Wolf plans to hold the vigil at 8 p.m. Friday, March 23, on Walnut Street, the street across from the Weaver building.

Anyone is welcome to attend, she said in comments on the post, and she asks those attending to bring their own candles.
