Residents displaced by York City fire

Residents of an East Boundary Avenue home in York City were displaced by a fire Friday morning.

The York City Fire Department said in a tweet that officials were called to the scene of a fire in the 100 block of East Boundary Avenue Friday, March 2.

The fire, which was reported at about 11:30 a.m., was listed as under control less than an hour later, officials said.

The Red Cross of Central Pennsylvania said that the organization assisted nine people who were displaced from the fire. There were six adults and three children displaced.

No one was injured in the blaze.
