Lane closures on Wellsville Road Bridge Tuesday

A bridge in Washington Township will close lanes temporarily for emergency work Tuesday, Feb. 13.

A section of the Wellsville Road Bridge (Route 4012) will close lanes for emergency shoulder repair, according to a news release.

Officials say work is scheduled from approximately 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. An alternating traffic pattern will be controlled by flaggers.

Drivers are asked to slow down when approaching the area and when traveling through the work zone.

The Wellsville Road bridge is one of the state bridges that was replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Rapid Bridge Replacement Project. The project involves replacing hundreds of structurally deficient bridges.
