A York man was indicted last week on drug and firearms charges, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Officials say Alexander Larriuz-Otero, 20, of York City, distributed crack cocaine last year, and he used an illegally possessed firearm to conduct the drug trafficking.

Larriuz-Otero was indicted Wednesday, Jan. 10, on drug trafficking and firearms charges.

According to the news release, Larriuz-Otero distributed crack cocaine in York City on Feb. 8, 2017, and also possessed crack cocaine with intent to distribute on June 1, 2017.

His indictment alleges he had a Glock .40-caliber pistol when he attempted to sell the drugs in June.

York City Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigated this case.
