Arvin said Wednesday, Jan. 10, that there should be no noticeable change to the public, although the move will add dispatching and billing department jobs to White Rose Ambulance.

Philip Guarneschelli, president and CEO of UPMC Pinnacle, said in a news release that the company looks forward to welcoming White Rose to the UPMC Pinnacle family.

"As York's regional leader in EMS service, its staff is dedicated to their patients and the community, and we are delighted to join them in our effort to make the communities we serve healthier," he said.

PinnacleHealth acquired Memorial Hospital in Spring Garden Township in July. It also signed an affiliation agreement with Hanover Healthcare Plus, the parent company of Hanover Hospital.

UPMC acquired PinnacleHealth on Sept. 1.
