A winter weather advisory is scheduled for overnight in York County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS said the advisory will be in effect from midnight Wednesday, Jan. 3, until 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4.

Accumulations of snow between 1 and 3 inches could occur, according to the NWS.

The NWS asks drivers to be prepared for reduced visibility on roads.

The advisory is also in effect for Lancaster, Lebanon and Schuylkill counties.
