$1.4 million: The Accomac in Hellam Twp. for sale

A historic restaurant in Hellam Township is for sale, according to a news release.
Rock Commercial Real Estate said in a news release Wednesday, Jan. 3, that The Accomac, at 6330 River Drive, is now on the market.
Becky Murphy, marketing director for Rock, said the sale price is $1.395 million.
Included in the sale price is the restaurant, its catering business, real estate, liquor license, furniture, fixtures and equipment, the release states.
It can accommodate 150 patrons, with seating areas in the main and upstairs dining rooms, the pub and porch overlooking the Susquehanna River, according to Rock.
The original Accomac dates back to the late 1700s, the release states, and current owners Douglas and Charlene Calvert Campbell have been operating it since 1971.
Douglas Campbell is selling the restaurant to spend more time with his family and help his wife with her event business, the release states.
