Man allegedly groped girls in Dover Twp. home
A Harrisburg man faces charges after police say he gave alcohol to four young girls and groped three of them.
Northern York County Regional Police say Jeremy A. Schroll, 33, gave alcohol and cigarettes to the girls and made them play a game in which he groped them.
Schroll, of the 2600 block of North Third Street, faces charges of indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault of a person younger than 16.
Alcohol: Police say Schroll was at the Dover Township home of an acquaintance about 10 p.m. Sept. 27 when he offered the four girls, ages 12 and 13, alcohol.
The alcohol, police say, included mixed drinks with vodka and Redd's Apple Ale.
Schroll told the girls they "should try and experience the alcohol," court documents allege.
Schroll also had a contest with the girls to see who could drink the fastest, police said.
Alleged groping: Police say at one point Schroll started a "boob game" to see which girl had the biggest breasts, and if they showed him, they could drink the alcohol first.
According to court documents, Schroll then grabbed the girls by their breasts or buttocks.
One of the girls drank too much and started vomiting, police said. Schroll then carried her to the couch and started kissing her, causing her to cry, documents allege.
He tried getting the girls to smoke cigarettes, police said, and one of the girls tried one and immediately started coughing.
Afterward, Schroll told the girls not to tell anyone because he could go to jail, charging documents state.
"He made the statement more than once to the girls over the duration of the night," Detective Michael Hine wrote in court documents.
When Schroll's acquaintance asked why he gave alcohol to the girls, police say Schroll said he thought they should drink alcohol while an adult was there.
Charges were filed Dec. 7, and as of Tuesday, Dec. 19, he had not been arraigned on them.
