State police say a Lower Chanceford Township man attacked his brother with a rubber mallet.
Jason Allen Brown, 31, repeatedly punched the other man in the face and body before hitting him in the head with the mallet about 4 p.m. Nov. 21, according to charging documents.
A trooper responding to the domestic incident on River Road found a loaded .22-caliber handgun in Brown's dresser, as well as three smoking pipes and a grinder with marijuana residue next to the gun, the documents state.
Brown has a previous felony conviction and is prohibited from possessing a firearm, according to police.
A warrant has been issued for Brown, who faces charges of aggravated and simple assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited possession of a firearm.
