A Hallam man is accused of raping a woman early Thanksgiving morning, according to court documents.

Police say Vincent Rex Soden raped the woman in her Hellam Township home  about 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 23.

Soden, 30, of the 200 block of West Beaver Street, is charged with rape, aggravated indecent assault, false imprisonment and trespassing.

Allegations: Hellam Township Police say Soden was with a group of people who were with the victim at the Tourist Inn on Thursday morning.

The group then went to the victim's house  about 2 a.m. and stayed there until about 4:45 a.m., when everyone left, police said.

The victim asked him several times to go, saying, "Get the f— out of my house," but he did not leave, officials said.

Police said Soden grabbed, choked and slapped her while calling her names and  then raped her. This went on for about an hour, according to charging documents.

The woman eventually escaped and fled to a friend's house, where she called 911, according to police.

Soden: When responding to the call, Sgt. Drew Heistand, who filed the charges, found Soden outside the victim's home looking for her, documents state.

Soden told police he and the victim were making out when she ran out the door, police said. He said he looked for her but couldn't find her, documents state.

According to court documents, Soden was acting aggressive earlier in the night while  at the victim's house. Police said he ripped up several pictures and continued to rip them up after the victim told him not to.

This happened while the others were at the home, documents state.

Soden was taken to central booking, where he was arraigned on the charges Thursday night.

Soden posted $20,000 bail, according to the York County Sheriff's Office. A phone number could not be found for him, and it is unclear if he has an attorney.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. Dec. 7 at District Judge Robert Eckenrode's office.
