An argument over a woman led to a stabbing last month in York City, according to police.

York City Police say Christopher Lee Johnson, 42, of the 300 block of East Philadelphia Street, faces charges of aggravated assault and harassment as a result of the Oct. 28 confrontation.

Incident: According to court documents, the victim parked behind a home in the 400 block of North Beaver Street about 2 p.m. that day when Johnson pulled up in his red Chevy Tahoe.

Johnson got out of the vehicle with a knife in his hand and began arguing with the victim over a woman, police said.

As the victim tried walking away, Johnson allegedly said, "I'll stab you right now."

"Over a girl?" the victim asked, before Johnson stabbed him in the right bicep, according to police.

Charges were filed Monday, Oct. 30, and as of Wednesday, Nov. 8, he had not been arraigned on them.
