York County and the rest of central Pennsylvania will see high winds overnight, the National Weather Service announced.

A wind advisory runs from 2 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, the NWS said.

Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected, with the highest winds late Sunday night and early Monday morning, the advisory said.

The service warned that the winds could cause damage to trees, power lines and weaker structures, and that power outages are possible. Driving could be hazardous for high-profile vehicles.
