Utz expands snack biz with Nathan's Famous, TGI Fridays

The Arizona-based Inventure Foods fits in well with Utz's offerings of potato chips, pretzels, cheese snacks, popcorn and onion rings.

Inventure sells bagged snacks for brands such as TGI Fridays and Nathan's Famous.

In addition to staples such as onion rings and potato chips, TGI Fridays has unique selections such as jalapeno poppers and baked mozzarella sticks.

Lissette also is looking forward to expanding the Utz footprint to Arizona and Indiana, where Inventure has manufacturing facilities. Utz currently has 10 facilities in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Louisiana, Massachusetts and Alabama.
