Police identify Shrewsbury man killed in Hopewell Township crash

A 76-year-old Shrewbsury man was killed in a crash in Hopewell Township on Tuesday, according to police.

State police said Forrest E. See was driving a 2006 Ford Ranger west on Bridgeview Road just east of Orwig Road about 1:40 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, when he crossed the double yellow line for unknown reasons and struck another vehicle in the eastbound lane.

The Ford Ranger came to rest partially in the eastbound lane, and the other vehicle, a 2016 Kia Optima, came to rest on top of a guide rail in the eastbound lane, according to police.

See was taken to York Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Dollie I. Matalon, 75, of Chester County, was the driver of the Kia Optima. She suffered serious injuries and also was taken to York Hospital, according to police.
