Miniature Railroad Club of York gets ready for the holidays
Take a peek at the Miniature Railroad Club of York, located on Wheatfield Street in York City, as club President Norm Lawrence tells what they are all about. The club will be open to the public on weekends this holiday season.
The Miniature Railroad Club of York will hold its annual holiday open house Nov. 25-Jan. 14 at the club, 381 Wheatfield St.
The open house features a 2,400-square-foot layout containing more than 1,200 feet of track with freight and passenger trains running through scenes from around Pennsylvania during the 1960s and 1970s.
The club was formed in 1943 and has held the open house every year since 1946.
