York City man's bail revoked after alleged assault on ex-girlfriend
A York City man facing 10 charges, including burglary, robbery and aggravated assault, had his bail revoked in that case after he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend in York Haven, according to court records.
Newberry Township Police were dispatched the evening of Oct. 6 to South Front Street, where Taijeem Tavon Gibson, 25, had allegedly argued with Ashlyn Grove and punched her multiple times before fleeing, according to police records.
Grove told police Gibson punched her five times in the face, breaking her nose. As she was choking on her blood, Gibson panicked and threw her into her car, she said. She managed to get out of the car and seek help.
She was taken to York Hospital for medical treatment, where her records indicated she suffered a concussion and broken nose from the assault, police records state.
Gibson is wanted for one count each of aggravated assault, attempted simple assault and harrassment, according to charging documents.
Members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested him previously on June 17, 2016, for his alleged involvement in a June 3 home invasion that left a man injured.
Gibson and another man allegedly broke into the home of Kevin Christopher in the 600 block of West King Street and robbed him while Gibson pistol-whipped him.
Gibson's bail in the case was revoked Oct. 6, the same day he allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend.
