Those looking to take Route 30 in West Manchester Township might want to take an alternate route during the day on Thursday, Oct. 19.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said that the center and right lanes of Route 30 westbound between Kenneth Road and the exit for Route 74 will be closed Thursday.

The lanes will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pavement repair work.

“We have a reoccurring problem there with a dip in the roadway,” Mike Crochunis, spokesman for PennDOT, said.

A portion of the exit for Route 74 will also be restricted, according to PennDOT.
