Traffic on Interstate 83 in Harrisburg will be impacted this weekend while crews conduct repair work, according to a news release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

According to PennDOT, the right lane of I-83 northbound at Exit 43 will be closed between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, while crews conduct bridge deck repairs on the John Harris Bridge over the Susquehanna River.

The exit, which is for 2nd Street, will be closed. Drivers will be detoured through Exit 44-A for 13th Street to Paxton Street, and then to 2nd Street.
