Springettsbury Township Police released surveillance footage of persons of interest in a shooting that occurred earlier this month.
The footage was taken from the Sunoco at 260 N. Sherman St. in York City about 10 minutes before a shooting that occurred on Sept. 6, according to Sgt. Brian Wilbur. Police released the footage Tuesday, Sept. 19.
The video depicts a white 2015-17 Ford Expedition parking at the Sunoco. Police are searching for the driver and passenger of that vehicle.
Police also are searching for a man who approached the Expedition.
Police also are looking for a white 2007-09 Mercedes-Benz that was seen pulling into the parking lot.
Another person was shown at the register of the Sunoco purchasing something that night, and police are looking for him as well.
“Right now they’re just persons of interest," Wilbur said Wednesday, Sept. 20. He said police are looking to speak with the men.
The shooting: Springettsbury Township Police were called to the 800 block of Bonneview Road about 10:15 p.m. Sept. 6 after neighbors in the area heard gunfire and called 911, Wilbur said earlier this month.
Officers found a man, 31, outside in the area. He had been shot multiple times, Wilbur said.
His injuries were not life threatening, according to police.
Anyone with information about the shooting, the persons of interest or the vehicles is asked to call police at 717-757-3525, or call 911.
