BAE awarded $52 million Army contract modification

The U.S. Department of Defense will pay BAE's West Manchester Township facility $52 million to modify an existing contract.

The Army contract was originally awarded in March for M109A7/M992A3 vehicle production, according to the Department of Defense website. The modification adds parts and funding to the deal.

York County's BAE Systems Land and Armaments is part of the global BAE Systems, which develops products and systems for military use.
