Repair work scheduled for I-83

Repair work on Interstate 83 is expected to impact drivers this week, according to a release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

PennDOT said lanes on I-83 northbound will be affected Tuesday, Sept. 19, and Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Maintenance crews are going to conduct roadway base repair in the northbound lanes between Exit 10, for Route 214 and Loganville in Springfield Township, and Exit 16, for Route 74 and Queen Street in York Township, the release states.

Work is expected to be done between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The right lane will be worked on Tuesday, and the left lane will be worked on Wednesday, PennDOT said.
