DUI checkpoints, patrols set for the weekend

Sobriety checkpoints and roving DUI patrols are scheduled for York County this weekend, according to a news release from the Center for Traffic Safety.

The checkpoints and patrols will happen sometime between 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, and 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17.

The activity is scheduled for Lancaster County as well.

Checkpoints and patrol are part of a program funded with federal grant money provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
