A bridge in Lower Windsor Township will be closed for 10 days at the end of September while modifications are made to it, according to a release from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
PennDOT said the bridge carrying Route 124, also known as Abels Road in the area, over Cabin Creek will close Tuesday, Sept. 26.
Crews will be working on barrier improvements, and work is expected to last 10 days, according to PennDOT.
Drivers will take a detour using Route 624 (Long Level Road), Route 462 (Lincoln Highway), Cool Creek Road, Nursery Road and Main Street, the release states.
Weather and "unforeseen activities" could affect the schedule, PennDOT said.
The bridge was replaced in December 2016 as part of PennDOT's Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
