The York Revolution's food drive this season is expected to exceed 1,000 pounds this Monday, according to a release from the team.

Fans donated just under a half-ton pounds of non-perishable food items in exchange for free tickets to Monday night games.

The donations go to the York County Food Bank.

Officials with the team expect that number to be passed on Monday, July 31.

Donations may be dropped of at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office Monday through FrIday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the release states.

Donations may also be made on game days.

Anyone making a donation will receive free tickets to the last two Monday games, July 31 and Aug. 21.
