Northern York County Regional Police have identified two men they say carjacked a woman in a Manchester Township shopping center almost two weeks ago.

On Friday, police filed charges for Byron Smith and Justin Miller, alleging the two took a 2009 Subaru Forester from the North Gate Shopping Center on July 14.

The two have not been arrested as of Monday, according to online court records.

Miller,  35, of 1410 Mount Rose Ave., Spring Garden Township, and Smith, 23, of 11000 Country Club Road, in New Market, Maryland, face charges of robbery of a motor vehicle, conspiracy to commit robbery of a motor vehicle, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, terroristic threats, and attempted simple assault.

Incident: According to police, a 58-year-old woman was leaving the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, 1500 N. George St., about 7:40 p.m.

Police say two men approached her as she got into her maroon 2009 Subaru Forester.

One of them ran around to the passenger side, while the other man stopped the woman from closing the door and ordered her out of the car, according to police.

He allegedly told the woman that if she screamed they would kill her

The woman's iPhone, purse and cash were inside the car when it was taken, court documents state.

After the woman left her car, the two men drove out of the parking lot.

On July 18, police released photos of the suspects. On Wednesday and Thursday, police say they received tips that identified the suspects.

Both Miller and Smith had been at the LifePath Christian Ministries in York City, and about 20 minutes after the carjacking, the two were seen packing all of their belongings there before running out of the shelter, charging documents state.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-292-3647 or use the tip line at 717-467-8355.
