A flood advisory is in effect for York County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

According to the NWS, radar showed heavy rain from thunderstorms, which will cause minor flooding in some areas.

The NWS said some of the areas that will be affected are York, Spry, Hallam, Yorkana, Tyler Run-Queens Gate, Emigsvillle, East York, and Wrightsville.

The advisory will remain in affect until 7:30 p.m.
