York County man indicted on drugs and firearms charges
A York County man was indicted by a grand jury for cocaine trafficking and prohibited possession of a firearm, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Jose M. Osorio III, 28, allegedly distributed crack cocaine Sept. 22, 2016, the release states. Osorio also had a Ruger Blackhawk .357 caliber revolver and ammo on Dec. 1, 2016, his indictment states.
Osorio, a convicted felon, is not allowed to have a gun. According to online court records, Osorio pleaded guilty to felony drug possession charges in February 2013 in York County and in July 2013 in Dauphin County.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and York City Police investigated the case.
The maximum penalty under federal law is 20 years in federal prison for the drug trafficking offense, 10 years in prison for the firearm offense, a term of supervised release following imprisonment and a fine, according to the release.
