Penn Twp. PD search for man who struck bicyclist

Penn Township Police are searching for a man they say struck a bicyclist Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, a white SUV hit the bicyclist  about 1:30 p.m. on West Granger Street.

The SUV then dragged the bicycle to the area of West Granger Street and Westminster Avenue, where the bike dislodged. 

Police say the driver was seen talking to another person who was wearing dark clothing at the intersection.

The driver is described as a white man between 20 and 40 years old, balding, with black hair and a black goatee. Police say there were two children with him. He was possibly driving a Mazda SUV.

The bicyclist's injuries were not life-threatening, consisting mostly of abrasions, according to police.
