Police: Peach Bottom Twp. man sexually assaulted woman

A Peach Bottom Township man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman last month, according to state police.
Brian Scott Hooper, 45, of Kilgore Road, is charged with sexual assault, rape by forcible compulsion, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and drug charges, according to online court records.
Police say Hooper sexually assaulted the woman, whom he knew, at his home on May 17.
Allegations: According to police, the woman went to Hooper's home about 7:30 p.m. to discuss something. Once she got there, Hooper began yelling at her, documents state.
He then pushed her into the house and into the bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her, according to police.
Hooper then went downstairs, where there were multiple weapons, documents state. Police say the woman went downstairs to confront Hooper, but Hooper loaded a gun and pointed it at her.
The woman then fled to a friend's house, where she called 911, police said.
According to charging documents, the woman had scratches on her arms and a large laceration on her back. Police say she also had a bruise on her left arm and on the inner portion of her left leg.
Police say marijuana pipes and a small amount of marijuana were found during a search at the residence.
Hooper was arraigned on the charges on May 18, according to charging documents. He remains free after posting $50,000 bail.
A message to his attorney seeking comment was not immediately returned.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. June 28 at District Judge Laura S. Manifold's office.
