York City Police are still searching for a 13-year-old who did not return home from school Friday.

Azariah Marie Greer, 13, did not return home from school Friday, and a search for her began, police said. Tiona Newman, Azariah's guardian, reported the girl missing about 9 p.m. Friday.

York City Lt. Troy Bankert said “nothing” has emerged in the search for Azariah as of Sunday afternoon. He added police are in constant contact with her family and are monitoring her social media.

Family and friends have searched parks and used social media but have not found her. Police say she has run away twice before, and she had an argument before she left home.

Azariah is described as 5-foot-3, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black-and-white striped belly shirt and blue jeans. Police say she also might be wearing a navy blue polo with tan pants and blue sneakers with stripes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-846-1234, or text tips to 847-411. Those with information may also call Bankert at 717-324-9239.
