A man crashed a car into a home in York City after being shot three times, according to police.

Edwin Jose Pacheco-Ruiz, 29, of York City was shot in his leg, torso and neck, according to a news release from York City Police. It is unclear if he was shot while he was driving.

Police responded at 9:28 p.m. Sunday after Pancheco-Ruiz crashed into a house in the 700 block of East Princess Street, according to the release.

Pacheco-Ruiz was transported to York Hospital, where he was listed in guarded condition as of Monday morning, the release states.

An officer with the York City Police could not be reached by phone early Monday evening.
