Missing York Township man found

Update 10 p.m.: Paul Weaver Sr., 67,  the York Township man reported missing, has been found alive, according to York Area Regional Police.

Reported earlier:

Police and emergency personnel are searching for a York Township man who has dementia.

According to a news release from county communications director Mark Walters, Weaver was last seen leaving his residence in the 100 block of Valley Drive in York Township. He has been missing since about 11 a.m., according to police.

It's possible that he was seen at a business in the area of Springwood Road and East Locust Street at about 1 p.m., the release states.

He was with his dog, a white Maltese, according to the release.

Weaver was wearing greenish khaki shorts, a short-sleeve shirt, with shoes that look like dockers and black socks. He is described as a white male, 6-feet, with white hair.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately.

York Area Regional Police are investigating.
