The York Dispatch

Interstate 83 reopened just after 11:30 p.m. Monday after being closed for about 3½ hours by a crash, according to 511PA, a website run by PennDOT.

The crash was reported at 8:05 p.m. Monday near mile marker 9, between the Glen Rock and Loganville exits, according to radio dispatches.

The York County hazardous materials team was called to the scene, according to the 911 media log.

The accident involved two tractor-trailers, and one was jackknifed, blocking both lanes of the highway, according to the Southern PA Information Network (SPIN).

Traffic was rerouted off the interstate at the Glen Rock exit (Exit 8), north on Susquehanna Trail and back to I-83 at Loganville (Exit 10).

The crash was called as a class 3, meaning there are minor injuries.
