Police: Windsor Twp. man sexually assaulted teen

A Windsor Township man is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage boy, according to charging documents filed early last week.

York Area Regional Police say Ronald L. Witmer assaulted the teen on several occasions.

Witmer, 51, is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors, among other charges, according to court documents.

Allegations:  On April 22, the victim had gone to the police department and reported that he had been sexually assaulted the night before, police said.

According to court documents, the teen was in a bedroom with Witmer when Witmer approached him and sexually assaulted him. The teen told police that these acts had occurred on "numerous occasions" over the past several months, police said.

Additionally, police say Witmer made the teen watch pornographic videos and look at pornographic magazines.

Witmer was arraigned on the charges April 23. He was remanded to York County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

He does not have an attorney listed.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. May 10 at District Judge John H. Fishel's office.
