A man who police say possessed child pornography was arrested last week, according to a release from the U.S. Marshals Service.

James Lewis Moore, 45, was arrested Friday in the 300 block of West Market Street, the release states. He was charged with possession of child pornography and disseminating photo or film of child sex acts, according to online court records.

York City Police obtained a warrant for him Thursday.

Moore was arraigned on the charges Friday morning and remanded to York County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail. It is unclear if he has an attorney.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8 a.m. May 8 at District Judge Joel N. Toluba's office.
