West Manheim Township Police say a man entered a stranger's home and asked the resident for money.

At about 11 a.m. April 13, a resident in the 300 block of Fairview Drive heard a noise at her back door, and found a young adult white male had entered her home.

Police say the man said, "I'm in the wrong house, I need money."

The resident told the man she didn't have any money, which prompted the man to leave out the back door.

Police searched the area for the man but were unsuccessful in finding him. He is described as about 6 feet tall, with a medium build and dark, unkempt hair.

The department is asking people to be aware of the incident and to reported suspicious individuals through 911.
