Some York County police officers will be serving the community in a very different way this week.

On Thursday, officers from various departments all over the county will be taking on waiter duty for this year's annual Cops and Lobsters, according to a news release.

From 11 a.m. until close, customers at the Red Lobster at 2555 E. Market St., Springettsbury Township, will be served by police officers. The event, in its 18th year, is to raise money for the Special Olympics.

All tips will from the day will be donated to the York County Special Olympics.
