Newberry Township residents now have another option when it comes to purchasing wine. On Friday, the Rutter's at 2215 Old Trail Road began selling wine, according to a release from the company.

The store is the first of seven planned locations to sell wine with beer, and it is the first Rutter's in York County to sell wine.

Customers can find the wine near the Beer Cave. Per state law, customers can purchase up to 3 liters of wine, which is about four standard bottles, or two large bottles, according to the release.

Wine sales will be different from beer sales because wine will only be sold 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays. Beer can be purchased until 2 a.m.
