Landlord allegedly rammed ex-tenant's car

State police have filed charges against a Chanceford Township landlord who they say rammed his truck into his former tenant's car.

Joell Eric Harry, 42, faces charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and harassment, online court records state.

According to an incident report released Saturday by state police, Harry was upset that a woman and her family, who were former tenants, had returned to the property, which is in the 800 block of Dellinger School Road, Chanceford Township.

Police say about 9 p.m. Feb. 6, Harry used his Ford F-350 to ram the woman's vehicle off the property and into the street.

A 5-year-old girl was sitting in the backseat of the car when the vehicle was rammed, according to police. The child suffered minor injuries from the crash, police said.

Charges were filed against Harry on April 4, online court records state. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. May 25 before District Judge John H. Fishel.
