Springettsbury Township Police have released video of a robbery suspect losing his loot while riding a bicycle.

In the video, a black man wearing all black clothing rides a bicycle down a street and money falls off of him. He dismounts the bike and goes to collect the fallen cash.

Police say he is the suspect in Thursday's robbery of the Member's 1st Credit Union that caused a lock-down of two schools and a community center.

The video can be viewed here.

The background: Police say a man wearing a red sweatshirt and dark pants entered the Members 1st Federal Credit Union at 2420 Mount Rose Ave. about 2 p.m. Thursday and demanded money.

No weapon was displayed, and he left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Neighboring police departments helped search for the man, but they were unable to find him.

York Suburban High School, Valley View Elementary School and the York Jewish Community Center were on lock down Thursday while police searched the area.

Police searched for hours in the rain, but were unable to find the robber.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 717-757-3525.
