An Airville man is accused of stabbing a Peach Bottom Township teen, according to state police.

Aubrey "T.O." Lamont Patillo, 43, of 160 Cotton Wood Road, is charged with one count of aggravated assault and two counts of simple assault, according to charging documents.

Police say Patillo stabbed the teen while confronting a man at his home Tuesday afternoon.

The allegations: State police were sent to the 2600 block of Bryansville Road about 3 p.m. for a reported stabbing, police said.

Patillo had stopped by the home of Neil Smith, who knew Patillo as "T.O.," and approached him, documents state.

Police say Patillo struck Smith in the face, causing a fight. Smith was trying to defend himself when a 17-year-old came out of the home to try to help Smith.

Patillo pulled a knife out of his pocket and lunged toward the teen, stabbing him in his left shoulder, documents state.

He then lunged toward Smith, but Smith was able to keep him back with a branch, police said.

An investigation led police to Patillo's home, where he was found with a black folding knife, charging documents state. While speaking with police, Patillo admitted he stopped in that area and he did stab a person there, police said.

"Patillo related that he was flagged down by a black man with dread locks and that he stabbed the person in self-defense," the responding trooper wrote in charging documents.

Patillo had no visible injuries, police said.

Police say it was later discovered that the teen had suffered a stab wound in his chest area that punctured a lung.

Charging documents do not state why Patillo allegedly struck Smith and the teen.

Maryland charges: During the time of his arrest, Patillo was wanted in Maryland on robbery and assault charges, according to Maryland court documents.
